You will understand that FIXYA is not a phone or electric company. I assume from the volume of South African postings we receive on FIXYA that you are referring to Telkom, although correct me if I am wrong is this assumption.

A/c 337640211: 6 months ago I complained about a buzzing on the line and was charged for an unnecessary call out. Buzzing still there, thinking of cancelling my landline.

Contact Telkom, but expect you may be talking to contractor operated response employees first, and need to be patient with this company, which inspires many mistaken postings and complaints on FIXYA.

FIXYA is for free questions and answers about "FIX"ing things, and is overwhelmed with questions at this time.

FIXYA has no relationship with Telkom, and is not located in the country of South Africa.

This time of day receives each day countless postings from South Africa, but it is unknown where you live or where your service provider is located. Can only guess.

I need help with a fixed line look alike for 0157955623. whom can I contact for help. Telkom seem to always be offline.

Sorry, Telkom is noted to have problems, and many complaints noted on the internet in South Africa.

FIXYA is not connected to Telkom. FIXYA is an internet service, not located in the continent of Africa.

My telkom line, internet and wi-fi have been down since 23 Nov 2017 . I have reported it over two months now, and still nobody from telkom has contacted me or been here to fix the problem.

Did u log a fault on 10210?
Did you get a reference number for the fault log?
In the absence of this reference number you have no proof that it was ever logged. If you do have it, call 10210 again(from any telkom phone..its a free call so even a phone booth will suffice) and request an update using that reference.
If that doesn't work.. visit your nearest Telkom store/office and express your concern in person..
