Question about Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S730 Digital Camera
Powers up then shuts off. Lens is out and will not go back in. Batteries are good.
There could be two problems:
1. Lens problem - stuck (damaged or sand / dirt inside the reductor and / or lens)
2. Faulty motherboard - happens to the Sony S series cameras.
I'm afraid you will have to give it away for a repair, you should contact your local Sony service center.
I work in a Sony service center and I know what I'm talking about.
Hope this helps!
