    Hi !! Sam,

    • My system gets freeze after the boot session is completed & only after I open any window ; explorer, mozilla, word , excel or any of the the Messengers , it gets stuck immediately.

    • Sometimes its so irritating that even if I connect my Pen-drive or insert a CD my system freezes. Touching the cabinet itself is frightening me, that it might not freeze.

    • Sometimes the System gets completely switched-off in middle of my work.

    • If I restart later it doesn't start booting, I see Blank Screen & after numerous times of completely switching off & switching on the power from the UPS it starts booting again, my Intel Screen appears 1st, later on Windows & so on.
So Sam, Could you please resolve my problem & help me in this regard. As I earlier told, I'm not a Techie but if you people guide me I can do some basic connecting, disconnecting & troubleshooting work.

    Thanx & Regards,

    - Keyrun **

I have the same problem as posted by Keyrun-9. I have removed/replace the power supply, ram, hard disk - both ide and sata, fresh install of operating system, CPU - complete with thermal compound, flashed bios with latest version from intel site. (Fortuneately, I have the another Dell PC (cheapy but same MB without all the PCI slots). The problem does not move to the other PC. The card plugged in are a firewire card, wireless card and video card. Now that I'm typing all of this I guess I could try a different video card but I don't think thats the problem. I feel I have eliminated all possilbe probelms with the exception of the MB itself. Unless of course any body has further suggestions. Thanks for your imput.

If your system freeze often then the setting BIOS to default is the best solution. you should check the connections for the Hard Disk and. Check the power supply.

Does your System freezs before booting up? Try setting the BIOS to defalut. There could be a software related problem also. Try reinstalling the windows.Your hardware seems well match for the entire system(Provided all are ok) It was not clear where the system freezs.

It seems your problem is Software related. So connect yr hard disc into an another computer and back up your Data what so ever and reformat+Reinstall windows on C drive. I would also like to suggest you to Change the "target" of your My Document into a different drive like Drive D. Coz by default Windows save the files in Drive C, which can be altered (That can be done by Right Clicking My Document>Go to property and and change target to Drive D) That way if any thing goes wrong in OS atleast your docs will be saved. Good Luck
