Question about Uniden Cordless Phone
Model 27956. Photo slideshow not playing even after replacing battery.
Unplug the power from the base for 10+ minutes and then plug it back in.
It will probably work for a week, then stop again.
Remove the battery; to get the cover off the back, slide it toward the top of the phone, it
should slide easily. A lot of people are having this issue, some are saying they have to unplug the phone for an hour or even overnight before the issue resolves itself.
If this works, you have the same issue many of the other GE phones have been having.

It may be actually a small technical error. If you have another set of screen savers, just change the screensaver to that set and see that if that set works. If it does, you can change it back to your earlier one and wait to see it work again. And a small advice, these so called screen savers do not really 'save' the screens. Rather, it consumes a lot of power and make your equipment hot. So don't go for it, if it is not so necessary.

Hi, i followed these steps that were listed, but it didn't work. Then I increased the time in step to an hour, and it worked
I called GE support. I was told
1. unplug power from base
2. unplug phone connection from base
3. remove cover and battery from handset
4. wait 10 minutes
5. put battery back, reattach phone connection and power
It solved the problem.

I would suggest you to unplug the unit. Then unplug the phone cord from the base. After that, disconnect the battery from the handsets. Then, wait for 10 minutes and put everything back together in reverse order. Next connect the handset battery, plug in the phone cord and the connect the unit.
Just unplug the power from the base, unplug the phone connection from the base, remove the cover and battery of the handset. You have to wait for 10 minutes then put everything back together.
If you still can't see the slideshow, try to press reset button.

In addition,i will suggest you change the battery simply because it's among the core accessories that controls the photo slide show.
if this persist after you have followed the above instruction i will advice you move the phone away abit from where you make use of it to also try if it will make a difference.
Thanks for using fixya,
