solenoid valve for hot water may be stuck or faulty. If you have a cold water supply, you may be able to run the machine using only cold water, turn off the hot water and keave cold on, see what happens.
hmm...so you're certain that the cold water is actually going in someplace huh? ok, try this...run it like you have it now...put your hand in the water flow and feel how hot or warm it is...now turn off the cold water and see if the hot water gets hotter...if it does, then try the opposite, turn off the hot water and see if there is still water coming into the tub...let me know what happens
check to see if the cold tap is connected to the cold valve on the machine and the hot tap to the hot valve. on the machine it will have cold or c for the cold valve and hot or h for the hot valve. please reply if you need further help.
Have you tried checking your cold water supply faucet? Are you sure there is cold water running out of that faucet before you hooked up the hose? Is it possible there is a shut off on the supply valve that isn't turned on? Therefore it will not run on cold water setting? This actually happened to me once. We went away for a week and turned the water off for the hot and cold supplys. Came back to do laundry and only turned the hot one on and not the cold. Good luck!
Hello, first if any water supply hot or cold is turned off, you will experience trickling as you mention. You must have both cold and hot in order to adjust the temperature on your valve. if you had a plumber intall this unit you should ask him to adjust it. Otherwise here is how:
Rotate the handle counterclockwise to stop and let water run till cold water is purged, check
temperature. Rotate handle to off, remove handle parts (see Disassembly in your manual) and temperature limit stop, rotate clockwise to decrease and counterclockwise to increase maximum hot water temperature, reinstall temperature limit stop and handle (TIP: Do not screw handle in until desired maximum temperature is achieved) Repeat steps until desired maximum
temperature is achieved
have a ariston euro combi boiler ,the problem to get hot water i have to turn the heating on to get hot water. but now it only run for a few min then run cold please help
Is the hot water hot that is coming to the washer? Are you using the correct settings on the unit? If yes to both then either the solinoid water valve is bad or the timer switch unit is bad. Try going to a totally hot water setting. While turning on the machine feel of the hot water line at the machine and see if you notice a buzz or feel a click as you turn on the machine. On this setting does water run in and is it hot or cold. If water runs and it is cold try going to a total cold setting and see if you get cold or hot water. Is this a new setup or has it been working and stopped? If new, you could have the hoses connected backward. If you get water in both hot and cold settings but cold both ways then your hot water heater is not working....let me know....
