Try unplugging and waiting a few minutes. This same issue has occurred with my roku stick and a complete power cycle resets it. Might work on tour smart tv as well

My netflix stopped working cause I didn't update my Credit card info when I got a new card.
I can browse Vudu just fine but after getting billing info correct for netflix, Doing a system factory reset of the visio I still get a Not connected to the internet message when trying to start Netflix.
