Go directly to Microsoft.com Windows Drivers. Seek driver up date for the keyboard OR go to your computer DRIVER setting. When the listed hardware comes up, go to the section where Mouse/Keyboard is listed. Highlight the Keyboard and press update driver. It will search for new drivers and if there are updates, the computer will automatically download and install the updated data for you.

Start simple - unplug and replug the cord that connects the keyboard to your computer. Try typing again. If it still does not work, restart your computer. If it still does not work after restart, go to Microsoft's website, and redownload the drivers/software for the keyboard. Good luck!
