I'm assuming you mean its google locked. This is because you removed the previous owners google account from the phone without them removing the device from their google account, so it gets locked for privacy by google. This is a common problem now and a big reason i tell everyone to stay away from a used smart phone unless you buy it from a reputable shop that will stand behind it. There is nothing you or boost can do, it will require the previous owner to login to the phone with their google account and remove the device from their google account, then it can be set up with a new google account.

Hi, I have a couple of idea for you to try.
1) Log in to your google account on your pc, the same account you registered for your phone
2) After logging in look at the top right corner of your inbox/email page, it would say your google username. Like say if you name is John, and you have a google id thats registered to your galaxy s as , [email protected]. Now this google id on the top right corner of the page would be displayed as [email protected]
3) Type in the google id, thats visible on the right hand top corner of your page (like [email protected]) into your galaxy s handset locked page, and type in the password.
TADA AND YOUR ON TO THE NEW SCREEN TELLING YOU TO PUT IN ANOTHER PATTERN.
or theres this one:
Take out the battery, the sim card, and the SD card leave the phone for 2 to 3 hours like that.. Put everything back in and boot up the phone.. This should work.
You could try this instead of waiting 3 hours, just remove battery and press power on switch for 20 seconds but this may not work.
or if you've tried everything, the only other way would be to take it to a Samsung mobile phone shop.
or do a factory reset:
THIS WILL ERASE ALL YOUR DATA THOUGH
Go into recovery mode - vol up & home & power. Once in the menu, select factory reset. It may take you a couple of attempts to get to the recovery mode but it does work, just keep trying.
Regards
Mike

1.Made a call from other mobile .
2.then you clicked the end call button, then there will be small amount of time to go back to lock screen from call screen
3.in this time start clicking menu or home button on the phone.( better is to press end call and immediately start pressing home button, this will take to home scrren)
4.In your web browser from a computer change the password for your account.
5.make sure u have net connection for the mobile
6.now click the sync in mobile, and get back to lock screen and enter the new password
Thanks.
Have a good day.

You can do a complete reset if you want and have no other option(this will erase all your data). To do this follow these steps.
Scroll to wipe data/factory reset using the volume buttons. to select it press the home button
SOURCE: Hard to start Husqvarna 435
reportedly you need to open up the low idle jet screw about 1/4 turn, takes an odd shaped tool to get at it, Husky sells this tool, or you can probably makeshift one from hard plastic tube... anyway, this is due to EPA issues, but once you increase the L adjustment 1/4 turn (counter clockwise, I believe), problem is said to go away.
SOURCE: Need to 'hard reset' my Samsung Galaxy Europa
I attempted the above in order to hard reset my Europa i5500. However, it didn't work, and instead just went back to the "enter address/password" screen. I've attempted to connect to Kies, but to no avail, Kies doesn't register that the product is plugged in. I can get the phone onto download mode and emergency download mode, however neither are helping me much. Any suggestions?
