Might try unplugging it completely, that will force it to reset, leaving it unplugged for 5 minutes, then plug it back in.

If it still gives the error on every disc, I would suggest calling Nintendo. My friend had to have his replaced, and it was pretty painless.

This sounds like an error with the console that would need a repair from Nintendo. You can send the console to them in order to get it fixed. This usually takes about a month.
If you are more adventurous, however, there is a great guide I will link below that will help you correct the problem yourself. Warning, though, it should not be attempted unless you know what you are doing.

Hello there

From what you have said it sounds like you have the Disk drive read error

The main causes are Hardware failure, overheating or wear & tear.

You may need to perform simple maintenance, clean or in some cases adjust settings.

To get the best advice on where to start I recommend a Wii Repair Guide , From this you can fix the problem at home and avoid any large repair bills. Its easier than it sounds when you have help from the guide.

The other solution would be to send the console off to Nintendo, This is free if your still in warranty. If your console is out of warranty then the usual price of repair is $90-$150

Glad I could Help!

Good Luck & Best Regards

Console problem

I'm having the same issue. Doesn't matter what game disk is in, after a little while of playing, the screen goes black with the message that disk can not be read. Eject disk and power off, then power back on and re insert disk. No error code is given. I just bought this console yesterday and this error has happened probably 10 times already. Wanted to get online and see if this was a common wii problem or I just possible got a bad one.

"Error Occurred. Press the Eject button and remove the disc"
This indicates a problem with the Wii console and it will need to be repaired. Please call 1-800-255-3700 to discuss available options.
