Cpu fan starts but no other indications

I just built this pc and start it up and the cpu fan starts up and everything seems fine but no video or anything. I have a video card in the PCI slot that is connected to the monitor. If I can't see what's going on how do I install video card?

Re: cpu fan starts but no other indications

If there a built-in videocard on your motherboard you must disabled it from the CMOS setup before you can use to the separate video card.

Please give me any update

Sounds like you need to go into the Bios if you know how and adjust the thermal values in there. I suggest checking heatsink on cpu is seated correctly and add a fan to increase airflow in side the case. Seems like a heat problem from what you describe.

Motherboar fail, no video, power supply ok help

Firstly, remove the RAM and turn on the system, if you hear the beep sound continuously that means everything is perfect expect RAM.
Clean the track of RAM at both sides by pencil eraser completely.
Also clean the port of RAM.

Secondly reinstall the CPU with CPU FAN and also clean the FAN.

Third one is that remove all the add-on's card and than turn on the system.

Two tone Siren from MoBo/over heating CPU

at first go to the bios. then default the bios setting. then check the system monitor. if the cpu is too hot you can see it. or you can change the processor. never over clock the processor.

Motherboard problem..

It sounds like the front panel wire has either come loose from the motherboard or is plugged into the wrong spot. Recheck the motherboard to see if the wires are in the right place & not loose. Hope this helps.

Wont boot

Check all connections. If you connect your pc to the mains supply and the fans run straight awayeven before turning on the computer switch ( and no beeps, no video). Well this could indicate a dead CPU. I have experienced this on 2 systems. I replaced the CPU and the motherboard and ram were OK .The CPU was totally dead and ended up in the bin!

Only the cpu fan spins

I guess it's a powersupply issue. what wattage and amps on +12v is your powersupply?

No Display on screen.

If available, try using a different video card to see if it will POST. The only other thing I can think it might be is that the processor isn't seated correctly, or that it is seated correctly but you have too little, or too much thermal compound on the CPU.
