Re: cannot get emails or mms. network states there is
First, it is recommended to download and install the latest version of BlackBerry Desktop Manager software from: https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/contactFormPreload.do?code=A8BAA56554F96369AB93E4F3BB068C22&dl=DA5FB46338C8C0DCB1039F7898184FC5 Once installed, connect your BlackBerry to your computer via the USB sync cable. Open Desktop Manager, and click the Application Loader. On the right, you will see Update your device software. Click the Start Button, and if your BlackBerry is not on the latest Handheld Software, an update will appear. Select the update, and run the install. Be sure to select the option that backs up and restores your data. Once started, do not shut down your computer, or disconnect the USB sync cable as this could damage the device. Once completed, your BlackBerry will restart and you will have the latest version available. This version has been known to correct various issues. If the issue is still present, then it could be hardware related, and may need to be repaired or replaced. I would then suggest contacting your Provider for Hardware Support.

Good morning, afternoon, evening or night; whatever time of day you are viewing this post. It would be more helpful if you could name the state you live in. There are 6 Custer Counties in the United States. But since I don't know which specific state you live in, I will give you the links to each of the five of the six states that contain Custer County (Idaho has no NWR coverage).
Hi, the process of opening MMS is very easy if you have activated MMS feature on your Cellphone. When your phone receives any MMS message a link will be in the Inbox of SMS or MMS you just need to open the message as you would open an SMS. That's it. The MMS will be opened on your cellphone which you can save on your Cellphone. Please contact the network carrier of your cellphone to download the settings for MMS and to activate MMS on your Cellphone.
Hi, you need to activate MMS feature in your Cellphone. Please contact the Customer Care of your Cellular Network to activate MMS. Then you can view the MMS sent to you on your mobile. Charges applies depending on the Cellular Network.
activate the gprs and mms settings first.. get the settings from your network provider.. upon receiving the settings, save or install it to your phone.next, activate the mms and gprs profile of your network provider.. you can test if your mms is working by sending an mms message to your own number.. your mms feature is working if you receive the mms.
note:you must have good network coverage or signal if you send mms.GPRS icon must be seen in your phone screen indicating that you are capable of connecting to the network via gprs.this icon commonly appear as capitalized letter G in most of phone screens..contact me if you have other questions. firstname.lastname@example.org
Sounds like you're in a dead zone. If not then ...
Check in the upper left corner... IF:
1x = you are not connected to any data at all - No emails, text, internet will work send/receive.
1xev= you're connected to data but not blackberry usually the same as above though sometimes you might get lucky and receive only text/pix messages.
1X= Phone calls only. Usually no data (email, text, web, etc)
1XEV = everything is connected and you should be working fine.
If you have 1XEV (upper case and lower case matter ALOT...everything should always be UPPERCASE) and you're still having that problem then go to:
options> advanced options> host routing table
In the host routing table click the button to the left of the roll ball (called the blackberry button) and click on "Register now" and just leave the phone alone for a minute so it can register all your service books again. Then try the web again.
If all else fails pullthe battery and try again ..> Still no good? Call your carrier.
Try setting your handset to manual network selection and select the network for your connction provider. If you don't roam around much, this works well. Please revert back to the automatic network selection if you go on Roaming.
Try & reply.
You need to get the Settings for Internet/Wap and MMS from your Network Service Provider. These settings are usually sent as a text msg. When you receive the msg. choose save or install on your phone. Or get the settings directly from their website. MMS don't always work between networks.
