SOURCE: Lenovo 3000 Y410 Wifi Problem
That is odd, I've never seen anything like that. I asked a few of the other top experts, and they've never heard of anything like that happening either. There are no adjustments for this type of thing. It could be too strong. How far away from your house can you get with the machine still seeing the wireless? I hate to say it, but you may just have to live with it, and, honestly, I think it's more their problem than yours. I'll look around some more on this, since you've got me curious, and if I find anything I'lllet you know.

On windows it works but on Linux platform you got to suspend the machine and then hit any key to start the machine. Blue tooth icon will show up and I did use it to transfer files on Lenovo 3000 y 410

Lenovo Y410 System RAM can handle up to 2GB of memory. Since the machine has 2 slots for RAM and you already have 1GB preinstalled with the computer all you need to purchase is another stick of 1GB RAM.
There is no chance of upgrading Graphics card since it doesnt have a video card slot and the preinstalled VCARD is onboard.
Should you have any other questions just please leave a comment.
