I am afraid you can't do anything if you lost both username and password. If you have changed settings, enter your phone number as username and do forgot password.
To resolve these problems, you can simply change or reset forgotten Windows password with a Windows password reset disk.
A password reset disk is a flash drive configured with your current
password, specially formatted to reset the password on Windows machine
when you ever forget it. It acts as a key to unlock the account. But the
problem is that we often forgot to create a password reset disk and
cannot log on computer with any user account.Of course, a common solution is to use a third party software, just take Windows Password Unlocker
for example. It can help you remove lost Windows password including
Windows administrator, user and domain password on Windows
7/Vista/XP/2000/2003(R2)/2008(R2), etc. You can easily reset Windows
password with a bootable CD/DVD or USB flash drive in hand.
Hi,
You can get the password of the wireless signal by going to the Interface of the Netgear, just type 192.168.1.1 on the address box on internet Explorer. if you will be asked for the username and password. Just type admin for the username, and the word 'password' for the password.
now you should be able to navigate the settings of the wireless on the netgear router.
Hope this helps you.
Cheers,
Thank you for using Fixya, your recommendation is highly appreciated.
The only way to get in to the router without password is to reset it to factory reset. RESET will bring all the settings back to what it was when you got it out of the box. Any custom settings will be lost and you will need to input them back in to settings (like your wireless network name or SSID, password and any open ports). Reset is done by pushing is little reset button (little round hole) that is usually on the back of the router and most times it says reset or it is different color than color of the router. You can use a pen or little screw driver but make sure not to press too had so you don't damage it. Router needs to be on and then when you push in the reset you need to hold it in for 30 seconds (make sure it is 30 per clock not just your count to make sure it worked). Once time is up just remove the pen or what ever you used and you can now log in to your router with default user name and password. This is probably on the paperwork you got with the router. If you don't have it just Google your model and most times you can find it there. If not you might have to call support and just ask them. Hope this helps.

Try to turn off your modem first before trying to open the router's setup page. By default, there's no username and the password is admin. Also turn off any firewall you have.
