HP Wireless Mouse Left Click Doesn't Work

My HP Wireless Mouse Model Number GT909AA tracks, but the left click doesn't work. I've only owned it for three months, so could it be that the left click button has worn out?

Try using a different mouse on the same computer if it work.... run a hard ware daignostic test on the old mouse.... and if you have purchased this before three months just get it replaced.... as it would be in warranty.... reply with any more queries....

When you change the left mouse pointer to be the right mouse pointer in the settings of the mouse, then if the right mouse button stops working, it is a software problem and reinstalling drivers is the way to go. If on the otherhand the left mouse button still does not respond, then there is a problem with the switch in the mouse. This is hardware related. Either clean the mouse or buy a new one.

MOUSE WILL NOT WORK

You haven't said what kind of mouse you have or whether it used to work.
I'll offer some suggestions for the most common problems:
If it used to work but now doesn't, try a system restore back to when it did work.
If that doesn't work--are you using a wireless mouse? If so, are the batteries fresh and are they inserted correctly?
If you are using a wireless mouse, have you pushed the little "connect" button on the bottom?
You haven't said, but is the other mouse a wireless one or a USB mouse? If your USB mouse doesn't work, try another USB port. If you go into the device manager, do you see a "human interface device" or a "mouse" listed? If so, it will tell you the system recognizes the device. If that is missing, there is a good chance the mouse is dead.

Bad contacts? Honestly, these should be considered consumables. Should just pick up a new one for 10 bucks.

Try replacing the batteries. Wireless mice do funky things when the batteries are low.
