Question about HP Photosmart C6180 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Error Oxc19ac3ff on my HP Photosmart Ct100 All-in-One series

Please help!  I am a senior with a limited income and cannot afford to call tech service and be charged by the minute.  Is there something I can do to fix this myself?

The ink system failure message has a chance to be fixed or it may be a permanent issue. It can be pointing toward a firmware failure in the printer and if that is the case the following steps should fix it.
Press and hold the "*" key. Press the "#" key and release both keys.
Display should say "Enter Special Key Combo"
Press and release in sequence the "1", "2" and "3" buttons.
Display should say "Support" and display the FW rev (something like R0631R)
Mine reads R0631M
. Press and release the right arrow button until the display says "System Configuration Menu".
Press and release the "OK" button.
Display should say "Hardware failure status". If not there already, Arrow Key over to "Hardware failure status",
Press and release the "OK" button.
Display should say "Hardware failure status: Clear. Press OK to clear".
Press and release the "OK" Button. Message changes to "Hardware failure status Cleared. Press Cancel to continue".
Press and release the "CANCEL" button as many times as necessary, so that, either the "Welcome to Photosmart Express" screen appears, or, the "Ink System Failure" screen appears. PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO PRINT AT THIS STAGE.
Using the Power Button, turn the unit OFF and unplug the power cable from back of the printer and wall outlet.
Wait 30 seconds for the power to get discharged and then plug the power cable into the wall outlet first and then into the back of the printer.
Turn the unit on. The printer may display message "USE POWER BUTTON TO SHUTDOWN THE PRINTER" followed by "PRESS OK TO CONTINUE". Press OK. The Printer will start the "ONE TIME INK INITIALIZATION PROCESS". Allow this process to complete and do not interrupt. Once the initialization process is complete, the printer will print out a Diagnostic Page. Good Luck!

It would help if you could specify what OS your computer has and what product emits this error, but there's a generic problem solving wizard at the HP web site for the Photosmart C6180

Ink system failure - error oxc19ac3ff. What is the problem and the solution


check to see if you are running out of ink... if u still have plenty ink in store then check if it is install properlly, then check for the printer setup

Installed all new HP ink cartridges, receive error Oxc19ac3ff. Now will not print.


Hi

This error means ink system failed. To troubleshoot this issue you'll need to remove the ink cartridges and would need to turn off your printer, unplug it and swap its USB port with other device and then insert the cartridges and switch on the printer. This will reset the internal error code.

Hi...

In this case you will have to do a system recovery and all dats will be lost better yoyu take a backup of data and then do a fresh installation.I know its not feasible but trust me i work with hp as a senior tech and this will resolve all your issues.

Printer is showing a system error of oxc19ac3ff ink system failure and will not print receive faxes or copy please advise


I had the same problem & found the solution of HP's website. It solved the problem.

Solution one: Reset the product
Use the instructions below to resolve the issue by restarting the product.
  1. Disconnect the Universal Serial Bus (USB) cable from the back of the product, but leave the product turned on.
  2. Open the cover of the product and remove the print cartridges.
  3. Close the cover and wait for the Insert Ink Cartridges message to display.
  4. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the product and wait for one minute.
  5. Reconnect the power cord. If the product does not automatically turn on, press the Power button.
  6. Open the cover and reinsert the print cartridges.
  7. Close the cover. If prompted, print a calibration page.
  8. Reconnect the USB cable, and try to print a print job from the computer.
Solution two: Service the product If you have completed all the steps listed above and are still experiencing a problem, service the product.

Error HP Photosmart 3310. No strart print, no scanning...


I have a Photosmart C6180 all in one and get an error message 0xc18a0101 Ink System has failed. Unable to copy, receive faxes or print. Refer to printer documentation. Error: 0xc18a101.

I put new cartridges in and tried to recalibrate as mentioned by someone on the board. Can anyone help, please?
