Hello If there is no Menu button on the front panel of the tV, it will be difficult to get an auto tune function to this set. Try to muy one universal remote contol, which have setup codes for your NEC Tv.

You can also download the manual or posting a request for the model- check this on the TV.
If there is no "tuning" button next to the channel up/down and volume keys, then you can't. I suggest you purchase a "one for all" remote control from a reputable store and if it works, great, but you will need one that is comprehensive. Hope this helps.
No manual found. But, I found this post on the web....
"if you press the "menu" button for 3 seconds you can set it up automatically (grey button on the lower right) and have 1 additional menu by pressing menu again. Hope this helps!"
