Re: BT-710 headset clip mini II
Go to your bluetooth settings and make your phone discoverable, normally you need to hold the power button down on your headset until it flashes red and blue, then you will need to select the headset on your phone, the default code is usually 0000

to pair a blue tooth device to a phone first you must turn the bt power on the phone to on,then you have to put your blue tooth device into discovery mode, now most manufactures use the power button for thisw feature.By holding down the power button on your device when turning it on for 6 to 10 seconds it usually puts the device into discovery mode.there should be a light that stays on on your blue tooth device.once you have the bt device into discovery mode you will be able to pair the device to your phone by search or add new device, once it pairs it will ask for a pin or pairing code.most manufactures of blue tooth devices use a 4 digit factory pin pairing code they aare as follows 0000,1234,9999,or 1111 once youve put tjhe pin code on they will pair ,i hope this helps
normally, the pairing has to be done once. If successfull, you can not pair the device a 2nd time withou removing it from the "paired devices" list in your phone. In order to get it recognized you should do the following. 1. check that BT is off on both devices 2. turn BT on on your mobile phone 3. power on your headset. In case, you have paired the headset successfully before, it has to be registered in your phone. It should then automatically find for the paired device (your phone in this case) and connect. Dont try to power on the headset before turning BT on on your mobile phone. If you have no success try to navigate to the bluetooth settings, check "paired devices" and make sure that your headset is deleted. Do the pairing and the 3 stepps above once again. Don forget, that the headsets also have to be charged..
Sometimes what happens is that we keep looking for BT devices without making them visible. Is it so in your case too? Go to settings of the headset and make it visible and your mobile visible to the headset. then you must pair them and also authorize them to connect without pass code etc. Then they will work.
Just came across your question while searching for the same answer - Here's what I found out:
When it's off, press and hold the on button for 5 seconds - it'll turn on, but keep holding until you hear the short beep - the light's on and you're where you want to be. Here's the full text that I found from the manual:
-With the HBM-710 off, press and hold the PWR/END button for 5 seconds
(You will hear a short beep and the LED indicator will stay red, when the device enters pairing mode)
-Using your handset, find the "Bluetooth menu" and "search for" or "add" new devices
- Select "LG HBM-710" from the list of devices and pair it with your headset
- When asked for the Pass/PIN code during the pairing procedure, please enter "0000" (4 zeros)
- Once pairing has been completed successfully, you will hear a beep
- After pairing successfully, be sure to "connect" to the LF HBM-710
- If you want to pair with other devices in the future, the headset must be in "Pairing mode"
- If it will be not connected the "Pairing" for three minutes, it will be turned off.
follow the steps below: • Setting the headset into pairing mode 1) Ensure the headset is fully charged 2) The headset must be switch off 3) Press and hold the on button for +- 8 seconds until the light flashes red-blue 4) The headset is now in pairing mode • Searching for the headset on the phone 1) Go to “settings” or “connections” 2) Select Bluetooth, then options 3) Select Devices and click add 4) The phone should search for any available Bluetooth devices and display what was found 5) Select the AOEM device and click add 6) You will be required to enter in a pass code which is standard ‘0000’ 7) If successful then the headset will start flashing BLUE every few seconds. 8) If it’s a Samsung or Nokia phone you will need to “AUTHORIZE” headset on the device. • The headset is now paired with the phone
You can goto bluetooth options in samung and disconnect the BTHS and delet it from the paired device.
To pair the BT to Nokia , put the BTHS in pairing mode by pressing the push button on the bt and watch the led stops blinking.
now gp to BT options in your nokia mobile and search for BTHS.
password is 0000.
After pairing go to options and connect.
