(If using an older version of Word, click the Tools tab, then select Letters and Mailings.) Step 3: Select Options to choose a font, and select an envelope size from the drop down menu. (Check your envelope packaging.) Step 2: Select Envelopes (if using an older version of Word, Envelopes and Labels). Enter your delivery address, and if you like, a return address in the appropriate field. Step 3: Select Options to choose a font, and select an envelope size from the drop down menu. (Check your envelope packaging.) Step 4: Insert your envelope into your printer?s document feeder. Most printers will indicate which way to insert your envelope with an illustration on the document feeder (vertically vs. horizontally, face up vs. face down).Step 5: Click Print to print a test envelope. If you find that your settings are incorrect, click on Printing Options to choose a different feed method. Step 2: Select Envelopes (if using an older version of Word, Envelopes and Labels). Enter your delivery address, and if you like, a return address in the appropriate field. Step 4: Insert your envelope into your printer?s document feeder. Most printers will indicate which way to insert your envelope with an illustration on the document feeder (vertically vs. horizontally, face up vs. face down). Before printing, follow these additional tips to avoid paper jams and other printing mishaps: Check the packaging to be sure your envelopes are compatible with your printer. Avoid printing on envelopes that are loosely constructed, as they can get caught in your printer or document feeder. Do not try to print on envelopes that have clasps, strings, or buttons. Hand address or use labels instead. If you?re printing a stack of envelopes, stack them loosely to avoid a jam. Most printers have built-in support for popular envelope sizes. Some even have special trays for feeding envelopes. If your printer has an envelope tray, be sure to enable the "load from envelope tray" option in the print dialog box before printing.

SOURCE: How do I disassemble and assemble my HP 5650

Sorry no diagrams, taking a printer apart is not hard if you have some basic computer building experience, otherwise I would take it to a local computer shop for service. Unless its a cheap printer, than do it one step at a time and take some notes.

Will not print envelopes in black

It sounds like you need to run an electrical check on the printer, it is suggested you perform the TAP 43 (and TAP 10) DIAGNOSTIC PRINTER TEST to evaluate the ink cartridges electrical performance. Visit Inkjet411 support site to see steps with instructional video on how to activate these hidden diagnostic HP utilities: http://inkjet411.com/?page_id=2358

HP Deskjet 5650 is printing off-center. The printing field is shifted to the right, so the right margin is non-existent and I lose a bit of the printing. How can I fix it?

I think the horizontal printing starting point can be adjusted by holding down buttons (??) when powering up. Right now my left margin is 3/8 inch too big -- photos have that much white space on left margin with borderless printing. I am trying to figure out the key combination.

HP DESKJET 5650

well..assuming that the text is the same on all, this might be a settings issue, with the print spooler. That's in the set up of the printer, under properties..look into that, and perhaps you'll want to spool the whole job, instead of printing immediately?

print spooler memory is finite, so the longer jobs will take longer.
