There is a faulty in your memory card. Try to use a memory card reader to read your memory card on the PC. Then have all the files save (avg scan to make sure there's no virus) and reformat your memory card. Now, try to re-insert your card, check if it detect it.

There are two main possible reasons, I met the first some times, but the second one just one time. The first possible reason is that: your memory has been destroied(have problems, broken) by virus from computer or by physcial harming. The second possible is the problem of your digital camera. The simplest solution you can try is use a card-reader and insert you memory card in it, plug the reader into the computer, try to use the computer to format the memory card one time and see if the camera can read the card or not.

My Canon Powershot A480 lets me record 15 seconds of film on an empty memory card and then says it is full. It does this with several different memory cards, cards formatted in the camera, formatted

Hi Jonathan, have you tried looking into the video shooting settings? Some cameras let you choose the resolution that it will shoot video and if it is set very high, it will fill the card quickily.

What is wrong with my memory card when the screen says 'built in memory is full'?

Nothing is wrong with your memory card.
The internal memory of the camera is full.
Try changing the storage to Memory card (using the camera menu).
If you need further help, let us know (but try first).

I've had the Samsung L200 with the same Panasonic 1GB memory card for the last 3 years and it's been great, but all of a sudden today it started saying 'memory full' after only taking a few...

The camera is telling you that the internal memory is full. To get your card to work, you must clear it. With no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format" and follow the on-screen instructions to erase the internal memory. Then, your card should work unless you formatted it in the computer, in which case you'll have to format (completely erases it) it in the camera.

Cant review pics on camera or computer, but camera says card is full

This occassionally happens with memory cards formatted using FAT. The simplest way for you to get the pics of the card when such a thing happens is to get a card reader. Pop the card in to the card reader, connect it to your PC and transfer the pics. Then format it using FAT32. I have noticed that my card was a lot more reliable in saving pics compared to FAT.

Memory card full

Get a bigger memory card. (Capacity wise) 8MB won't let you hold hardly any pictures. Get something with like 512MB- 1G.
