SOURCE: No Bake; everything else works

Hi, When you put the oven on bake, can you see the ignitor glowing but get no flame?
Sound like the ignitor might be getting weak and not opening the gas valve. Please let me know if this sounds like the problem.
It is common for the ignitor to go bad. Even if it glows, it can be bad.
Please let me know if I can assist you further.

Oven won't heat.

Good Afternoon Gwen - Try reprogramming the range by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and turn the unit back on. If issue persists, then the unit could possibly be experiencing an issue with a wiring failure, EOC (electronic oven control), sensor probe and/or faulty bake or broil element. I would strongly recommend consulting a professional to narrow down the precise issue before investing in parts that may or may not be the root cause.

After baking and trying to set time bake a week ago, the range won't turn on at all. Nothing happens when we press bake, broil, convect bake, etc. The clock, lights, fan, timer and cook top still work.

the oven controller in the main service/selection panel has either a bad solder joint on the circuits or the start realy for the oven on the same circuit board is bad and you have to replace the whole panel you cannot just buy the relay

Oven with convection - when baking cookies, cakes, etc they aren't getting done. Bottom and middle is soggy. Both coils look to be heating, convection fan is working.

Set the temperature one position higher. Convection ovens have a more even heat spread so if you used to bake at the top of your old oven it will now be slightly lower temperature

Kitchenaid electric convection range - preheats just perfectly in regular bake mode, but takes forever on convection bake. This model has 3 elements - broiler, lower covered element and a convection...

Put an oven thermometer in the oven on convection bake and check the actual temp inside. I'll bet it's not maintaining the correct temp in convection.

Convection fan doesn't turn on

Found this site cuz I had the same problem- as your purchase was 4 years ago- not sure that I'll help you... But help others who are stumped... I pushed the QuickBake button to preheat then to turn the fan on I pressed it again... ( actually a couple times messing with it...) Once it gave me a " double beep" and sometimes just a single beep but none the less, the fan turned ON!!! Good luck!

Convection oven not working properly???

your correct the only difference between a regular oven and a convection oven is that it has a fan.when you open the oven door the fan should be spinning to a stop if this is not the case you may have a problem with the fan.
