How to install/download my CanoScan N340P to my computer .
Problem for Canon CanoScan N340P Flatbed Scanner
Vista Driver for Canon N640P flatbed Scanner
In vista ultimate my canon N640P flatbed scanner is not detected at all.The Driver CD installs and everything runs but at the time of scanning it says no profile is found.In the Scanner & cameras there is no scanner found.I tried compatibility mode also but it didin't worked

Did u re- boot your computer after you installed the cd's?

I have CanoScan N340P and cannot install it with Windows Vista Home Basic. Is there a driver available? I did reboot after installing but no profile was found.

Under Windows Vista my old Canoscan N340P scanner no longer installs.
I have the old installation CD which worked great under Windows XP - can you give me a link to download a driver for Vista?

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM, I SAW A PAGE WHO DESCRIBES, A CANON LINK TO DOWNLOAD A CANON DRIVER TO WINVISTA. THIS IS REAL?

with Vista Home Basic the driver installed from disk sucessfully but when the command to scan or preview is given, an error message comes up:
"Profile not found!
Error Code: 0x240500010
