SOURCE: dryer doesn't dry clothes. seems to run on low heat.

Make sure dryer is unplugged. Take the back off and you will see two heater exchanges and probably the element. One of those heat exchangers is for hot setting. When you find out which one go to nearest electrical shop with it and order. I reckon thats what your problem is. I've changed mine and everything was alright.

SOURCE: Frigidaire dryer heats but clothes not drying

A1 Pull the dryer out away from the wall. Unhook the vent from the dryer completely. Do not put anything over the dryer exhaust on the back of the dryer. Do a normal load with the vent unhooked. If it dries better or ok like this then the problem is in the dryer venting. Like a blocked vent pipe or a smashed or restricted vent hose.

SOURCE: my dryer doesnt heat at all! Goes straight to

If your dryer doesn't heat, check these:---- Power from the house:------ Check to see whether there's power getting to the dryer. Is it plugged in? Check for blown fuses or tripped circuit breakers--your dryer uses two fuses or circuit breakers. The dryer could tumble but not heat if only one of the two fuses is blown. If you have circuit breakers, one of the two circuit breakers can trip, even if the two for the dryer are connected.----- Heating element:------- Often a dryer heating element burns out, but doesn't trip the circuit breaker or blow a fuse. The heating element is simply a long coil of special wire. You can check it for continuity with an ohm meter. No continuity means the element is bad and you need to replace it--electric heating elements aren't repairable.---- Thermal fuse:----- On many dryers, there's a thermal fuse mounted to the exhaust duct inside the back cover panel. The fuse--which is about an inch long--is usually embedded in black resin and mounted in a white plastic housing. If the fuse has blown, you need to replace it. (You can't re-set it.)---- Wiring:------ A common problem is for the main wiring connection from the house, at the dryer, to burn and break its connection. Because the dryer can still tumble with partial power, the connection may be only partially defective. You may need to replace both the power cord to the dryer and the terminal block inside the dryer that the wire is attached to.-----
This will help. Thanks please keep updated.please do rate the solution positively .thank you for using fixya.

MY DRYER DONT START,she make a sound but not start

Hello Friend, thank you for allowing me to assist you!

I understand you are having trouble with your Frigidaire dryer not starting. Let's try resetting your dryer by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker to the off position. It is best to wait roughly ten minutes and then turn on your dryer. Confirm that the door is securely closed and select a cycle. If resetting the power does not correct the issue, then at this point, you may want to connect with a local servicer who will be best equipped to pinpoint the problem. You dryer may either be experiencing a communication error with the main control or the timer itself may not be operating correctly. If you don't know a qualified technician, you can use the service locator option on the manufacturer site to find one near you.

Dryer heats but only at low temperature. takes several cycles to get cloth dry

Usually the relay (in the internal thermostat) is bad or if their is a second heating element, it can be bad. Also, the controller/timer can cause the problem but usually not.

Good Luck!
