How old is the phone? If it's a bit old, it might be a bad battery. Li-Ion batteries shut down when the voltage drops to low, or too quickly to prevent damage to the battery. My guess is that while on the phone, your voltage is dropping too quickly causing it to shut off without warning. My iPod did the same thing before the battery even dropped to 50%.
I agree, try a new battery, same thing happened to me in Jan., I bought a $10 battery off ebay and my phone is working great once again with no issues.

I have a blackberry torch and i have been trying to unlock it now it says 0 attempt left please what can be done because my phone is new and i hav'nt used it before i just got it

My dear,

you have zero attempts left to unlock your blackberry. It is no problem. You can get it reboot or reset and then it would again have 10 attempts. After doing that, you can get your blackberry unlocked from Blackberry Unlocking Codes with IMEI. This vendor is highly reliable and uses only 1 attempt in total and provides excellent customer service. I am pasting the link for your model that would redirect you to Torch collection by CLICKING HERE.

Blackberry 9700 just shut down and would not reboot . Light turns red. Screen goes to blackberry and as it starts to boot it just stops and will not reboot.

Since it's not possible to do a "wipe", what you could try to do is to soft reset the phone.

Remove the battery while the phone is turning ON, leave the battery out for five minutes, put it back and try to turn it on.

If the same problem occur, contact the manufacturer because the problem has something to do with the software, application, or firmware. The phone needs to be reprogrammed.

Thank you and good luck!

There can be many ways to Unlock your phone. As far as i know unlocking by codes is the simple and safe way.You will need the unique MEP Code for your Blackberry and to get it you can use a website with service for Blackberry unlocking .so you can use a website to Unlock your Blackberry 9700 online instantly - OR local mobile shop .they are mostly using cables to unlock it and the price is higher then on unlocking websites but the result is the same: SIM free Blackberry.

Want to use a blackberry 7290 in st vincent but the phone wants to unlockhow can i do that

Hello

You have to unlock that BB first
This unlock code provider generate full LEGAL unlock code direct from Blackberry server which wont void your warranty, & generate code based on your IMEI, means individual code for every blackberry set.
After unlocking from this provider's code your blackberry not only work with single network, you can use your Blackberry in any part of world with any network including your browser & MMS picture messaging to work, yes with just one time entering code from your keypad.
They unlock from network who locked your blackberry
This site will help you a lot & good email & 24/7 phone support

Blacberry 8100 turns off when i press any key

Hi,

Looking at what you’ve posted, this is more like a battery problem let’s try some troubleshooting;

1.) Try charging the battery again: Keep the battery out for some time & then reload & check.
2.) If it's less than a month old see if you can return it, otherwise you can try reloading the OS.
So if you're willing to try that, do the following.

First download and install the Desktop Manager from here (4.6 without Media Manager is recommended): https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/entry.do?code=A8BAA56554F96369AB93E4F3BB068C22

Next you can use the Backup and Restore feature present in the software to make a backup of all the data on your phone.

Next download and install the handheld software from here: http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp

Afterwards try reloading the OS by connecting the device to your computer, open the Desktop Manager, then go into the Application Loader. This will open a wizard that steps you through reloading the OS onto your device. More detailed steps can be found here:
http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB03485

Please let us know if that was helpful enough.
Good Luck & Thanks,
Shiv.

8703e stuck rebooting continuosly

if you installed them from any site other than blackberry.com, the app is a 3rd party program and as tech support reps we always recommend to customers that they do not download and install them, as we dont support them, and they can cause problems with the phone. i would honestly suggest removing the application with the desktop manager, then if that doesn't help, reload the handheld software for the phone.

Camara on blackberry phone does not work

Try turning off the phone and then removing the battery for a few minutes. Replace the battery and then then let the phone reboot, it should work fine after it reboots.

My blackberry is new,but it cuts off on its on!

For starters, he's right. However, that won't fix your problem. A reboot is a downfall of the blackberry because I have one. To date nothing can be done.
