Question about Sony Ericsson W960i Cellular Phone
I don't know what your query is, but let me tell you more than what you have asked.
If there is software problem(Bug), then a Master Reset or a Firmware update may fix your phone, if its a hardware fault, then you can take it to the service centre.
Warn you that, this will delete all your Personal Files, installed applications and Settings.
Back up your phone using the PC suit.
To Master Reset:
1) On your phone, Go to Control Panel -> Other -> Master Reset.
(The default code is 0000, but if you have chaged it, Enter that one)
To Update the Firmware
1) Download SEUS (Sony Ericsson Update Servise) from Sonyericsson website
2) Run it and Follow the instructions, update the Firmware even if it says you allready have the latest firmware.
If I was helpful, kindly do Rate! Regards.

Hello, i changed my w960 screen and it needs to be calibrated. I cannot calibrate it since i cannot make the prope selectioins.i tried reseting it but again i cannot do the proper selection. Anyone has any idea how i can fix this?

Select control panel - other - set up wizard.. this is where you find the settings for re-calibrating the screen... if you can't use the touch screen to select the necessary options, then you can use the jogwheel on the side of the phone --- scroll up or down to highlight the option, then press the wheel in to select..
hope this helps.....

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
Here's a link to this great service

Yes it can be fixed but you cannot fixed it by yourself, you will need software and flashing tools to do that or worst case scenario is that you might replace some damaged part on it, but it can be fix
just bring it to a cellphone repair man and will handle the problem
