SOURCE: I have a dirty rubber inner Bosch Maxx 1200 Front Loading Washing

First clean around the rubber with some mould and mildew cleaner for bathrooms - available from most supermarkets.

This is a natural accumulation of waste detergent, fabric softener, fibres and dirt build up that is being attacked by bacteria and eventually decomposes into a sludge / goo and then eventually starts smelling bad as well.

To keep the machine clean of waste build up and to keep any bad odours away:

1. Remove all items from the washer.
2. Open the dispenser drawer and 2/3 cup (160 mL) of liquid chlorine bleach to the bleach compartment. DO NOT use more than 2/3 cup (160mL) of bleach per cycle as this will lead to product damage.
3. Close the washer door and dispenser drawer.
4. Select the Clean Washer cycle or a full wash cotton 104 F wash (40 C). DO NOT use any higher temperature as this will cause unnecessary fumes
5. Press Start and allow cycle to complete.
6. After the cycle is complete, leave the door open slightly to allow ventilation and drying of the washer interior.
7. Repeat the cleaning procedure monthly

SOURCE: how to clean the rubber seals of a front loading

You can use wire scouring pad with a cleaning agent, but it probably will not remove all stains, you will not harm the seal doing this.
The prob is originally caused by doing too many low temp washes, you should do a 95 degree wash without clothes in, but with the powder in at least once a month, it is called a maintenance wash, and all manufactures recommend you do this on a regular basis.
If it is really bad then the only satisfactory solution is to replace the seal, and keep doing a hot wash periodically.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.

Whirlpool Front load washer - the grey round rubber came out. I put it back on and now all th water leaked out of the machine all over the floor

I don't know what model you have, but mine has a big spring that goes all the way around the rubber gasket. If that is not in place it will leak. I wonder if the spring in yours is under the gasket and didn't get put back on properly.

The rubber on the front of the washing machine at the door has come away and i cant see where to put it back to.

I'm gonna assume this is a front loading washer. If not, stop reading. That rubber is called either the bellows or gasket. Depends on manufacture but its the seal between the outer tub and front of unit. If it has come off, there is a reason. One, the band that holds it in place has come off or is broke. Or, something inside washer has pulled it off. Either way, you need to inspect and make sure its not damaged. Next, in order to get it back on correctly, the front of the washer has to be removed. Hopefully this helps.

Large rubber door seal came apart

Yes it can be put back on without taking the drum apart. The larger end goes on the drum side. Fit larger end around drum lip make sure it seals all the way around, install spring around seal. Smaller end goes around door opening. Install seal around outter lip and install spring around seal.

Metal ring aroound rubber seal fell off.

Start with the spring at the bottom, work the retainer around until the seal starts to pull away from the washer. Now grip the loop that the spring attaches to on the side that isn't in place and open the retainer. Push the retainer in place and release the spring.
