Question about Coby TF-DVD7107 Portable DVD Player
recently I have encountered this problem. Every time I insert a DVD into my player I get the following message " no disc " . I have realized that the disc is starting to spin for say one or two turns and then it stops. Has anybody encountered this problem and if yes how can it be fixed.
Hey guys, b4 u toss that laser assembly, try replacing the loom cable (flex) connected to the laser p/up. It could just be the culprit. try any u hev available so long as longer the d original and 24 pins or core...pins on one side both ends. Just to confirm. This is cheaper than the laser...cost AU$3.50. available at wescomponents.com. Parts Code. FWL24200. If still the same, time to replace the laser parts # 1200W.

Try out some other disk but if still the same problem, replace laser lens assembly.
