SAECO Incanto Type Sup021
Machine Ground the coffee but would not let the water through. just jettisoned the grounds. Descaled and cleaned, refilled beans, waited for it to stop blinking, both green lights on pressed for half cup and it worked. Then pressed for a full cup and again : grinds, makes a noise but does not pour. Tried again for half cup same negative result. It has been back to the repair centre a number of times and is out of warranty. Thought i might try to fix before using it as a boat anchor. Can anyone help with this please?
Thanks Brian

Thanks for the interest
Yes the grounds are dry.
What happens when you chose pre-ground (scoop) button and don't put any coffee in, then press the full cup button? - Water comes out.

removed the screen, cleaned adjusted grind dial, did not help. The machine still throws out dry ground coffee. Then occasianally out of the blue the machine makes a cup of coffee once only.
Are the grinds wet or dry?
Hi Couple of things. Are the ground dry when ejected? What happens when you chose pre-ground (scoop) button and don't put any coffee in, then press the full cup button?
Hi Guys - I have the same problem and taking a moment to try and fix it. The agents charge a fortune and no joy. Replaced many items and still the same fault. The beans are ground and ejected dry. There is no water in the compartment. I have resorted to saving the dry ground coffee and spooning it manually into the top compartment. This works fine - but only if I remember to clean the waste after every cup. Is there a sensor that checks to see if there are coffee beans in the compartment? Can this be disabled?
