Question about Samsung SyncMaster 920NW Monitor
It could be 1 of 2 thing
1; the cable connecting the monitor to your computer is damaged/not connected properly. This can commonly cause a red/ green/ blue tinge on the screen. Check all connections to see if this is the problem
2; the monitor was dropped or banged causing a "pinch" or crack in the screen.
an easy way to test if this is the problem is to squeeze the casing of the monitor to see if the banding goes away
if this is the case try loosening the screws in the casing
DONT REMOVE THE CASING AS THIS IS A SHOCK HAZARD
P.S. dont squeeze front to back as this can cause more damage squeeze side to side to buckle the screen outwards
