I had the exact same thing happen to me today. It worked perfectly on Saturday and then today it was totally broken. I just placed a call to the Phillips customer service number---1-800-243-3050---and when I described my problem they told me they would ship me a new handle along with a return shipping label to send back the defective handle. My razor was only about 7 months old.

I bought mine from the US and am trying to charge it in Australia for the first time. Looks like it doesn't work the other way around, as mine requires a step down transformer to convert the Australian standard voltage from 240V to 120V (American standard). Looks like it's going to cost me another $50 - $70
