I purchased a previously owned Polaroid 7.0 tablet. It has been factory reset before I purchased it. Setting it up denies me to connect the email account I created because it says it needs to have the previously synced email account. This must be the account set up by the original owner and cleared when it was factory reset. I do not have this account nor do I have any way to get this account. What do I do?

Reset kurio tablet where no emails are necessary

A factory rest requires no previous user information.

Your tablet could not have been set up with HER information. It is probably asking for yours as the parent, as that is what i used to install apps bought for the tablet. from Kurio. Try the forgot password option using your email address. If that doesn't work contact Kurio support https://www.kurioworld.com/k/us/parents/support/contact?product=kurioWatch#device. They should be able to use the device serial number to locate your account information.

How can I delete previous owner information on Google account

Simply do a hard reset/factory reset for the tablet. This will return the tablet to the way it was as if you are unboxing it for the first time from the pack.
Then, you can freshly configure it with your own Google account.
Best of luck

How do I reset my 7 inch polaroid tabet to factory defaults?

Patty, I'm first assuming you can at least boot the tablet to the menu screen. Scroll over to the settings menu. Scroll down the settings menu to backup and reset. You then have two options given: Back up my data or Factory data reset!

Setting on charger for a Polaroid tablet, 6V, 12V, Help

Not sure of the model number of your polaroid tablet you have. Generally the adapter should be an AC adapter for 220V or 110V depending on country. It is unlikely you will have to select 6v or 12v. If you are unsure charge the tablet through the USB cable connected to a computer. It might take a bit longer to charge and make sure the computer is connected to mains charger to avoid drain on computer (laptop, etc) battery.

If you have a 7" tablet then I am assuming it is a PMID705. See manual on this link.
http://www.southerntelecom.com/upload/polaroid/pmid705/PMID705_User_Manual_20121210.pdf

The manual says it is a 5v DC output connector for the adapter. Not sure why you are asking the question. If in doubt send email to polaroid support on the address at end of the attached manual.

How do i fix my polaroid 7" tablet

You'll need to do a factory reset:
1. With the device off, press and hold Volume Up and Power.
2. Release the Power button when you see the logo, but continue to hold Volume Up until the recovery screen appears.
3. Use the Volume buttons to navigate the menu and select wipe data / factory reset. Press Home to choose the selection.
4. Press Volume Up continue.

This will reset you device to factory settings, however anything on your SD card will still remain.
At this point you will need to start fresh as if you just bought the device -- register with your email address, etc.

Polaroid tablet

well the only advice I can give you is to reset the whole system and don't overload the sd card because from my previous experience that jams the whole system up..

Can i restore my Polaroid tablet to the factory setting without messing up my iphone and laptop files?

Yes. Some of the older models have a reset button, you have to push with a safety pin. The others have the reset feature in the settings. You can choose to leave the mini memory card in the tablet to clear it or remove it before reset to save the non factory stored apps on it.
