Question about Canon Cameras

1 Answer

I have a Canon SI S1 digital camera and it was working perfectly until the other night. Now all you see when looking through the viewfinder or displayed on the display panal is blackness. When a picture is taken all you get is a black image. Any suggestions?

This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Canon should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check this link for more info.

There's a diopter control just to the right of the viewfinder. Adjust it while looking through the viewfinder until the display is sharp.
