Hello, I am trying to stop some of the videos that I have downloaded into my library from synching over to my ipod nano. I want to know how to "uncheck" them like you do with music. I tried to do the "Manually Manage" thing and it asked " are youn sure you want to manually manage your iPod' and then said "you will have to manually disconect your ipod.... Can you help? Also, once you send your answer to me and if I don't get it how do I "reject" it as the last guy who was trying to help me tonight I wanted to ask these questions and it said "you will nhave to accept or reject this answer" but when I clicked on "ask another question from the same expert" it just kept repeating that but there nwas no "reject" button to click on. HELP!!!!

Simplest way is to drag the one you want to sync later from the library file onto your desktop, then when you want to add then to your player, just drag them back into the library folder

You should turn Itunes to manually manage content, that way you decide what is put into the player and itunes wont just throw in everything you have..

Configure iPod or iPhone for manual management
If you have iTunes 7 or later follow these instructions.

  1. Connect iPod or iPhone to your computer.
  2. Open iTunes.
  3. Select iPod or iPhone in the Devices list.
  4. Click the Summary tab and select "Manually manage music and videos."
  5. Click Apply.
  6. When manual management is enabled, you can still sync some content automatically. Select any content tab such as Video to enable automatic syncing for that type of content.
Manually adding content to your iPod or iPhone
After following the steps above, you can add individual songs, videos, and playlists from iTunes to your iPod or iPhone. Just drag the item to the iPod or iPhone icon in the Devices list on the left-hand side of the iTunes Window.

--- Then just remove the files from the ipod you don't want to have in there and send over whatever files you like.

Let me know if you need anything else..

its very simple an icon with an image of a computer chip and a green arrow appears in your system tray (bottom right corner next to clock). Close all open files, right-click on this
icon and then select “Safely remove hardware”. A new window will open
up - for each device you want to safely remove, click on its name and
press the “stop” button. Once the device stops and disappears from the
hardware list, it’s safe to physically remove it.

I posted the insturctions for you!!

You just need to click a few things as I said and its not a problem don't worry about it, there will be a icon on bottom right corner of your screen, right click on it and select safely remove hardware.. select your ipod from the list and then you can unplug it, you need to do this every time you take the ipod out from the computer.

How to down load a song to my appleipod nano 2gb?

To download songs to iPod nano: m Simply connect iPod nano to your computer. If iPod nano is set to update automatically, the download begins. Important: The first time you connect iPod nano to a computer, a message asks if you want to transfer songs automatically. If you accept, all songs, audiobooks, and other items are deleted from iPod nano and replaced with the songs and other items from that computer. If you don’t accept, you can still download songs to iPod nano manually without deleting any of the songs already on iPod nano. While music is being downloaded from your computer to iPod nano, the iTunes status window shows progress, and the iPod nano icon in the Source list flashes red. When the download is complete, a message in iTunes says “iPod update is complete.” If you set iTunes to download music manually, you can reset it later to update iPod nano automatically. For more information, see “Updating iPod nano Manually” on page 22. To reset iTunes to update iPod nano automatically with all songs and playlists: 1 Open iTunes and select iPod nano in the Source list. 2 Click the Options button and click Music. 3 Select “Automatically update all songs and playlists.” The download begins automatically.
if you need further assistance please let me know. Thanks, MIDWEst-tek

Want to restore deleted videos off JazzDV 179

I have had success with this... Download Asoftech Data Recovery program

You have to use a card reader either on your computer or an external USB card reader. Put the card in the card reader, open the recovery program, then select the drive where files are deleted, then press "Next" and wait for it to do it's magic.

You can often successfully recover deleted files from a PC, phone or camera memory card or USB Memory stick, it just depends on what's happened since the files were deleted.
When you delete files the data itself isn't deleted, just the index entry that says where the data for those files is located. The space containing the deleted files is also now marked as free space so it is available to the system for any new files to be written there instead.

If and when that happens, then it becomes too late to recover your deleted files so it is very, very important to not save any new files or data to the device concerned.
If the deleted files are on a memory card or USB memory stick, just don't save any new files to it.

One of the easiest ways to see if you can recover deleted files is to download file recovery software. Recommended asoftech data recovery as it saved my life many times. You can download it from
