A safety switch may be preventing startup. Jumper out safety switches and see if it starts.

I would check to ensure the coil is firing. You can do that with a plug tester attached between the plug wire and the plug and check to see if there is fire to the plug or remove the plug and ground it to the motor and see if it fires as the engine is rolled over. Hope this helps.

Cub cadet lt1050 starts but after mowing for awhile i shut it off it wont start again

be sure the air fins on the engine are clean. make sure the fuel line is away from heat source. loosen the fuel cap and see if it starts. sometimes if the cap don't vent it will not let it start. change the spark plug. check to see when it does this if it still has spark. the coil may be going bad.

My rtz 50 will not start I have changed the fuel pump and filter it seems to not be pumping aany fuel. I have checked the fuel lines and can suck gas from the carburetor side of the pump thru.

Take a spray bottle and spray some fuel into the carb and see if it starts if so you have a fuel problem. If not you may not be getting fire to the plug. Check the plug and be sure it is gapped correctly and be sure you are getting fire through the plug wire.

Cub Cadet has gas, has spark, has air -still won't start/run

Are you pulling the plug to check for wetness after cranking it a few times, WITHOUT using the starting fluid? Also, I would recommend using carb cleaner in place of the starting fluid. Starting fluid runs the engine VERY hot for a brief time and can possibly damage rings, valves, and aluminum parts.

My 25hp kawasakie motor cranks but wont fire. tractor model 7252. ran perfect 2 days ago. parked it now this problem. where do i start to find problem?

All internal combustion engines need three things to operate (air, heat or spark, fuel). Check to see if you have all of these things, a clean air filter with a clear path to the carburetor, spark at the end of the plug wire (this can be checked by using a screwdriver inserted into the plug wire end and holding it close to a metal grounded surface), and fuel to the carburetor (check to see if you have fuel at the fuel line going into the carb or an easier test is to spray a small ammount of carb cleaner into the throat of the carb just before cranking, if it starts and runs you have a fuel supply problem then check backwards to find the blockage (pinched fuel line, plugged fuel filter, bad fuel pump ect).

If no spark at the plug wire check all connections at electrical terminals under hood and at switches for parking brake, belt engagment (PTO) ect..

Usually if something runs and then just dies suddenly there is an obvious problem, your powers of observation will help you the most. Look at anything that looks out of place.

I have a cub cadet 1500 series and it wont start i changed the fuel lines feul filter spark plug i can pour gas in the carb and it will fire but there is gas getting to the carb it just wont start

Check and see if it has an anti-backfire solenoid in the front of the carb.If it does and the solenoid has power then you need to replace it.
