If win xp you can try and go to safe mode and get into the administrator account that usually is not locked. You can then disable your password in User accounts. Another solution is that you can download Hirens boot cd and run active password changer software to get rid of the password. Boot cd works for vista also

Don't you have the password? If you have no the password, you'd better download windows password unlocker from http://www.passwordunlocker.com/products/wpu.html and reset it. With windows password unlocker, you can unlock the computer with great ease
