Re: How to view
There are two ways to view the photos, in the camera...
1) if the camera is OFF and the lens barrier is closed, just press the Play (>) button once to view the photos. 2) If the camera is in SHOOTING mode with the lens barrier open, press the Quick View button twice in rapid succession.
When you are done reviewing the pictures, press the Quick View button once to turn the monitor off, OR, to return to the shooting mode, press the shutter button halfway.
Then use the arrow pads to go forward and backward.

If your photos are stored on the memory card, then removethe memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader.Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of yourworking computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device oran external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card andcopy the photos to your computer.Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. Youcan copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off yourmemory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing anyprograms.
Please check if you have the CD and the USB conneting cable which comes along with the camera.
Download the software in the computer from the CD.
Connect the camera to the computer using the USB cable.
Switch on the computer and the camera and follow the instructions on the computer screen whether to view the images or download. Select download and once the downloading is finished then save them in the My Pictures folder
Does it show pictures on the computer or is it black images, if they are black, your cameras lens cover could be stuck, it opens up when the lens is fully open, dirt-sand and dust or old grease causes the problem. otherwise your LCD on the camera could be off by mistake, (Do a camera reset) or a bad LCD
This is normal for this camera. Think about it. The CMOS chip can't see through the mirror. After the shot is taken the electronic shutter exposes the CMOS chip and makes an image just like exposing film on a film type camera. Once you get used to it you may like it better. In outdoor or bright light situations it's difficult to view the LCD screen to frame the shot anyway.
Your camera works just like a film camera SLR,. You use the eyepiece
to frame and focus your picture. The LCD screen is for reviewing
pictures taken or menu operations. You cannot preview a shot on screen before it is taken with the camera.
