Are plush toys safe to give to your dog?

Dogs love stuffed animals to play with; the problem is that they tend to rip them to shreds. If you do want to give your pet a stuffed animal you should ensure that they are particularly made for dogs. This gives you the peace of mind that the toy will be durable and that it contains no small parts that can be ingested.

How to clean dog toys

Different types of dog toys require different cleaning due to their materials and the type of germs that they attract.
Plastic and rubber toys- these are the easiest type of dog toys to clean. They can be either hand washed with soap and water or in the dishwasher. If you do choose to clean them in the dishwasher, make sure it is without a detergent.
Rope toys- these toys attract lots of bacteria. In order to clean them, it is advised to put them in a microwave for a full minute. Another way to clean them is just like with plastic and rubber toys, to put them in a dishwasher without a detergent. These two methods will kill the bacteria.
Stuffed animals- these toys attract lots of bacteria as well. In order to clean them, put them in the washing machine. In most cases, they will come out fresh and clean. If the stuffed animal is made poorly, then it will not survive the washing machine.

I have a LTF2940ES3 and the water drains slowly and not completely. I get the error code E20 and I have already checked the exterior hose and it is not clogged. I washed a stuffed toy pillow and it tore...

There is a filter in the black hose that goes from the tub to the pump. It must be where the toy stuffing blocked the water from draining. Access the hose through the front bottom panel then remove it from the bottom of the tub to get the filter out and clean it.

Remove the two screws attaching the front bottom panel to the cabinet then slide the panel down and off the cabinet. Prop up the bottom front edge of the washer or cushion and lean it against the wall to access the screws more easily.

Loosen the clamp holding the tub-to-pump hose to the tub to remove it and take out filter. Clean the filter then reinstall it and the front bottom panel in reverse order of the removal steps.

The washer will agitate but won't rinse, or drain. It just makes a humming sound when it reaches that point of the cycle

Hi, I just got done fixing my washer for the same reason. It turns out my girlfriend washed a comforter that had a small tear in it. The stuffing from it clogged the water pump. Our washer is a top loader. I took off the front panel, disconnected the water pump, disconnected the hose clamps and pulled a big clumb of stuffing. If your machine still has water in it, you'll have to get a bucket and manually drain it. Make sure you have a lot of towels handy because you won't be able to manually drain the whole tub so when you disconnect the hose clamps the rest of the water will drain out. **Disclaimer** this was MY issue so I can't say you have the same exact problem.

Code 37 - will not spin and drain. The problem occurred after a stuffed animal came apart in the machine. This is an Intuitive Washer. Will I need a repairman or can I be walked through this?

Some stuffed animal material may have clogged in the pump. Fortunately Fisher Paykel makes their pumps small and very easy to get to. On my model they put the pump underneath the machine; didn't even have to remove any panels. If the pump's got clogged with gunk, you might be back in business if you can manually clean or rinse it out. If it got burned out, you will need to replace the pump. If you remove the pump, first pay careful attention to how the pump is hooked up and what its connected to before snapping it out. There are a couple of squeeze clamps holding it in place. I know there have been solutions posted here with info specific to cleaning or replacing a clogged pump.
I had the same or similar problem after washing a throw rug with a backing that was in poor condition. In our case, cleaning out the pump did not solve the problem, because it was burned out. My husband replaced the pump. I ordered the part online. I don't recall the exact price, it wasn't all that expensive.. especially compared to a new machine or repair person. Oh.. there is a way to test the machine using the wash cycle control buttons to determine if the pump is functioning or not, but I don't remember how we did that. Does anyone have that info?

There is a large hose that runs from the basin to the pump. I would recommend checking this hose from the pump to the basin.  It is probably plugged in there as well as in the pump inpellor.  look under the machine to find the pump.. White/clearish plastic with 2 large hoses running to it
