Open up your camera like you are going to take a picture, and click your blackberry button. go to options, inside there you will find picture size and picture quality. change your picture size to medium and your quality to fine. if they pictures are still too big, then just play around with those settings until something works. Hope this helps.

Down loaded pictures for first time want to email one . keep getting errors

And, what are those errors? Hard to help you without information.

Possible your pictures are "too large" for email. Most email systems have a maximum size. If that's the problem, you can use a photo editing program to shrink the picture.

My cell phone won't email videos; it always says that the files are too large. Is this a problem on my phone's part or on the internet's part? I have the internet guy coming out tomorrow for something...

Its your email service provider and not your phone. If you are sending large files be it video, music or documents with large pictures, you email service provider (Yahoo, gmail, etc) probably has a cap on the size of the file. Also, if its too large of a file it may be timing out. Most email services have a limit and may even charge to send larger files.

All my attachments in my e-mail are being blocked so that i cannot receive them.

Dorothy,

Are you getting lot of pictures? I am asking you because pictures could be very large files and some email services are fussy about the maximum size of attachments. hence they may be blocked. Actually not blocked but not allowed due to large size.

Scans are too large...

while scanning try reducing the DPI of the scans. this will make the image smaller in size but it will effect the picture quality very little. but do keep in mind that the dpi must be atleast 70 for better picturization

Outlook continues to send the same email and gives me an error

What is the error message?
Pictures too big?
Too many email addresses?
Size of email with pictures too large?
If it looks like SPAM to your ISP (Internet service Provider) then your email is being 'blocked'.
More info, please...

Outlook

There are a number of posible reasons for this.

1) The email could have contained a virus which has stopped your computer from running correctly.

2) Your computer cannot download the pictures because the files are too large. Outlook may appear to jam but you may need to give it time for the pictures to download.

3) Your antivirus software may be stopping the email fro being downloaded.

Do you know who sent the photos?
Are they from a trusted source?

If the files are very large you will need to wait for Outlook Express to download them. Depending on your connection speed and server this may take some time, so be patient.

Do you have access to your email via a web address? Some people use this when they are away from home and want to receive their email. If you can access your email via a web address, I would suggest that you delete this particular email.

My daughter tried to email a file with a large # of photos... I have no idea how large the file is but it has to be mega big... The file is stuck in the OUTBOX. I tried to delete it but it locks up...

try to right click the picture and click delete. Once you have deleted all the pictures, If the pictures are from your email sent to you... SAVE it in JPEG format to minimized file size. then try attached all pictures to your email and send
