Question about Dell Computers & Internet
Sounds like something wrong with the '9' key. Turn it upside-down and give it a shake. If you can remove the key in question, do so and clean it with a dry cotton bud. Sounds like there may be some muck in it activating the metal contacts in the key, making the the computer think the key has been depressed.
If not, replacing the keyboard may be an option.
