Hi Mate

SOLUTION

1. The issue is this and THIS IS what you have to check first. On the box it says that the Camera is for XP/Vista and you INDEED have one of these OS's?

2. If you got the WRONG driver installed it will never work. So make sure that you go to the appropriate site and download the latest driver.

3. Did you check if it works through Windows Movie Maker and through MSN. If the answer is YES and it works fine there. It might well be an issue that the camera does not work properly with the installed flash/shockwave you got. If so the following are worth a try.

1. Download and install the latest Adobe Flash player from www.adobe.com
2. Download and install the latest Adobe Shockwave player from www.adobe.com

Cut and paste

Facebook allows users to connect with family, coworkers and friends new and old.
Users can send messages to friends, post events, share status updates and comment on friends' walls.
The built-in copy-and-paste function of Windows computers also works on Facebook.
Members of the site can copy favorite or important text and paste it into their profile page or on a friend's profile page.

Log in to your account at Facebook.com.
Click and highlight the text you wish to copy.

Press the "Ctrl" and "C" keys simultaneously to copy the text.
Click inside the area you wish to paste the text.
Press the "Ctrl" and "V" keys simultaneously to paste the text.
Hold the mouse down on text then drag along text to Highlight the text you want to copy and paste to your Facebook status with your mouse.
Right click your mouse on Highlighted text you should see option to cut as well as many other options.

I want to thalk in facebook.

Facebook affords its users several means of communicating with one another, from public posts made to the collective News Feed and individual users' Walls to direct, private messages. Facebook also allows for real-time chat communication between users who are both online -- this doesn't, however, include an option to chat using video as of this writing.

How Facebook Chat Works

Facebook chat functions much in the same way as standalone chat clients, such as AOL Instant Messenger and Windows Live Messenger. To chat with another user on Facebook, he must be one of your contacts and also be online. Two categories of online friends exist: Available and Idle. Available friends, which appear at the top of your chat list and have green dots next to their names, are actively using the site and, therefore, more likely to be available for chat. Idle users are not actively using Facebook, and although they're signed in, they may not be at their computer to chat.
Chat Capabilities

Facebook Chat is simple and, as of this writing, permits you only to send text in most cases. The one exception is in the case of emoticons. If you type ":)", for example, a yellow smiley face appears. Beyond this, Facebook Chat's list of features is rather limited. If you don't want to chat within the main Facebook interface, you can pop out the chat box and continue your conversation in a separate window. You can also make yourself go offline if you don't wish to chat with others or to let them chat with you.
Links and Videos

Although you may direct others to pictures, videos and other multimedia within chat -- namely, via text links to the URLs at which they're hosted -- it's not possible to embed images and videos themselves within a chat message. Furthermore, Facebook Chat isn't capable of video chatting, such as programs like Skype and Windows Live Messenger. If you want to communicate with one of your Facebook friends via video message, you won't be able to do so using Facebook Chat.
Skype Workaround

One potential workaround to Facebook not having video chat among its features is using Skype's Import Contacts feature. In addition to being able to import contacts from email clients such as MSN Hotmail and Gmail, you can enter your Facebook credentials and cross-reference your contact list to see which of your friends are also using Skype. After you've done this, use Skype to make free video calls with your Facebook friends who use the program.

I hope you find it very helpful. Thank you for using fixya.com

Disabled dont know why

if
  1. You didn't use your real name. Facebook will find you and spit you out.
  2. You joined too many groups. (The maximum limit is 200 groups per user.)
  3. You posted too many messages on a wall or in a group. E.g. Guy Kawasaki had his account disabled-in his case for "excessive evangelism."
  4. You posted in too many groups, too many user's walls. (That's what spammers do, silly.)
  5. You friended too many people. (Not so long ago this was a prime cause of disabled accounts, but Facebook has instituted a maximum of 5000 friends that should protect you from yourself.)
  6. Your school/organization affiliation is doubtful.
  7. You're poking too many people. (Beware the odd FB app that pokes on your behalf.)
  8. You advertised your app on wall posts.
  9. You used duplicate text in multiple messages.
  10. You are a cow, dog, or library.
  11. You are under 18 years old and not part of a High School group.
  12. You wrote offensive content.
  13. You scraped information off Facebook. E.g. Facebook bots disabled Robert Scoble's account.

I am getting uneccessary links which is being forward to others

It is a hoax going around the world. It's some kind of hack made by someone. If you get the link from someone and you click it, you get the "messenger virus". This virus will make you unable to chat on messenger (yahoo or msn), and it will automaticly send links to all other people on your messenger list (all your friends and so on). This virus kinda destroys your messenger program, plus it makes the link go to all your friends too, meaning if they click it, they will send the virus to their friends, then if they click it, to their friends, and so on and so on.

Now, to be able to get the virus off your computer you first have to run antivirus, and then you need to redownload your yahoo/msn messenger. Then it'll all be normal again.

But, try never having it happen again. If you get a link with a text like "look, a photo of you!" or anything like it, just make sure you don't click it.

I hope this helps.

My facebook chat shows people online but when i try to chat with them it says they are offline when they are definitely online.

Hi,
Simply put, Facebook Chat is not a real time instant messenger like MSN or AIM - complex, I know, I've written a simple article about it here:
http://techblissonline.com/facebook-messenger/
Basically, a friends Facebook status isn't updated in real time.

I have had something posted to several friends which I did not post, Nor had I even been on facebook today.

Sorry jkirkend, you're the victim of a hacker. Hackers have penetrated security at Facebook and released viruses that post erroneous messages and content to everyone in your Friend List or Address Book. There's not much you can do about it except *IMMEDIATELY* reply to the posting and tell your friends it wasn't really you and you didn't post it. Some of them are pretty obvious; most are just a nuisance.
