Kia Sportage 2006 catalytic converter -I'm getting a p0430 and previously had o2 sensors replaced, still get p0430 which is Bank2 Cat Is that the front left/right and/or rear (cat)?

The AF sensors are uupstream and the O2 down stream. The car' s computer tests them and it is saying your cats are bad. If you have a scan tool you could look at the data and see what the sensors are seeing. The Af sensors are the ones that control the fuel ratio in the car while the O2's just watch. AF's would be the one to change but there is no garuatee that the codes won't come back.

Bank 2 is the bank that is farther back than the other when looking at eng from the front you will see that one cyl head is farther forward (closer to radiator than the other. this is #1 Bank) #2 is the opposite and sensor #2 is the one after the Catyliac Convertor towards the muffler. #1 sensor is between head and Cat.
