I have a brand new Travel Pro suitcase. I want to set the combination lock. How?

Some Travelpro bags come with an external lock upon purchase included in the user information package with the user manual and the add-a-bag strap or hook. This external lock can be looped through the zipper openings to secure your bag. To set the lock to your combination, follow these steps.
  1. External Travelpro Lock:
  2. Unlock the mechanism by pulling up on the metal lock rod. The 3 dial combination must be set to (0-0-0) factory combination if new, or the existing combination if used to unlock.
  3. Once released, rotate the lock rod to align with the notch of the dials, usually perpendicular to the long side, or about 90 degrees from its lock position.
  4. Select a new 3 digit combination.
  5. Press down the lock rod all the way and hold in that position while you turn the dials to reflect your new combination. NOTE**The lock rod must be held down all the way until you have your 3 digit combination in place, otherwise an unknown combination will be set while you adjust the dials.**
  6. Once your new combination is in place, release the lock rod. This sets the new combination.
  7. Return the lock rod back to the locking position and double check that your new combination does lock and unlock.
  8. Scramble the dials in order to keep your luggage safe and secure.

Cannot unlock my husbands tsa lock we are in argentina

To set/reset combination on TSA Cable Lock

TSA Cable Locks come preset from the factory to 0-0-0. Set the combination to 0-0-0 or your already chosen combination. if different than 0-0-0. To set the combination, use a pointed device such as a pen to press in on B. While pressing on B (do not release B until combination is set), pick your 3 digit combination.

Once all 3 dials are set to the combination you want, release B. Your TSA Cable lock Is now set to your combination. TSA Lock will NOT be locked at this new combination - turn one or more dials and your lock will be locked. To unlock, follow instructions above.

Please make sure to remember your combination!

How do you unlock the machine? It says that it's locked.

If you are referring to the Control Lock indicator, you may have inadvertently locked the control panel. Before assuming you have a malfunction, read the following: The Control Lock is actually a safety feature that allows the consumer to lock the control panel to prevent small children from manipulating the controls. It can inadvertently be set following a power outage, or by leaning against the control panel. The following link explains how to turn the feature on/off:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r2469429-kenmore_elite_amp_whirlpool_duet

These instructions are printed on the front panel of the appliance and in the owner's manual. If this does not correct your problem, then you may have a more serious problem than a simple operator control issue. If you need further assistance, please let me know. I hope this corrects the problem for you.
