Question about Samsung HL-P6163W 61" TV
I am having the exact same problem with my samsung. There is a dead bug caught in between the screens. Has anyone tried to clean this?
It is unlikely the bug got between the inner Fresnel lens and the outer cylindrical disperser lens of this DLP as the separation is minimal and blocked off all around. Much more likely is that is inside the Fresnel lens and may be cleared off with a clean microfiber cloth through a port to be found on each side (guessing) of the set. Try not to add dust. You can also go to avsforum <http://www.avsforum.com/> and search for Samsung HL-P6163 or similar 5-year old. -Ken
