Daikin unit won't turn off when temp is reach

The Fan of the indoor unit is not supposed to turn off when the indoor Temp reaches the set temperature, but the indoor ambient sensor tells the outdoor unit that that's enough. Then, the outdoor unit minimizes the sound of the compressor. It is the normal operation of the Inverters. The Indoor motor fan doesn't turn off until you turn off the unit.

My acurite 00509 has stopped giving me the correct temp reading. I've put another temp gauge next to it and acurite shows 78* and my othergauge shows 72*. Do I need to return it or what ? Thanks

The indoor temperature and humidity and outdoor temperature readings can be calibrated on the display to improve accuracy. Calibration can improve accuracy when sensor placement or environmental factors impact your data accuracy. 1. To access calibration mode, press AND HOLD the "?", "?", and "SET" buttons for at least 5 seconds. 2. Once in calibration mode, the preference you are currently setting will be highlighted on the display. 3. Press the "?" or "?" buttons to calibrate the data value higher or lower from the actual reading. 4. Press the "SET" button to confirm the calibration adjustment. The " " icon will remain illuminated next to calibrated values. 5. The next adjustable data will begin flashing, indicating it is ready to be calibrated. Repeat Steps 1 - 4 to calibrate additional data. The preference set order is as follows: OUTDOOR TEMPERATURE INDOOR TEMPERATURE INDOOR HUMIDITY BAROMETRIC PRESSURE (must be set to MANUAL mode; see page 12) After 20 seconds of inactivity, the display will save the adjustments and exit calibration mode. Note: Calibrations will be erased if the display is reset or if batteries are removed and the power adapter is unplugged.

My Stirling Reverse cycle split system has an Error code E2 and won't heat or cool.

That means

"Fault of the indoor pipe temperature sensor
- set the temperature manually and call for
service."

So it isn't something you can fix yourself, but you may be able to vary the temp manually by the remote or the indoor unit front panel.

My dometic roof air works fine in the daytime but at night it shuts down and try to restart on and on others have said they replaced the stat and still the same problem, any other ideas

Change the automatic temperature detection settings. Many of these Dometic systems have an automatic indoor outdoor temperature gauge that determines when it shuts off. This is separate from the normal thermostat. When the outdoor temperature reaches close to the indoor set temperature the unit shuts off.

Haier A/C CPR10XC7-L

The Haier ESA410J-L is part of the air conditioner test program at Consumer Reports. In our lab tests, air conditioner models like the ESA410J-L are rated on multiple criteria, such as those listed below.

Comfort:This is how well temperature and humidity are controlled at the low-cool setting. The best performers held temperatures to within one-and-a-half degrees of the setpoint.
Indoor noise low:This judgment of indoor noise at the low-cool setting combines an objective measurement of noise level using a decibel meter with a subjective assessment of noise quality (how annoying or grating the particular sounds were).
Indoor noise high:This judgment of indoor noise at the high-cool setting combines an objective measurement of noise level using a decibel meter with a subjective assessment of noise quality (how annoying or grating the particular sounds were).

My aircon unit turns on runs for a minute then indoor and outdoor unit switch off

If this is a LG Airconditioning unit.
It has reached the set parmeter of the safety switch point.
1 The unit could be running on too low refrigerant charge and cuts out on low temperature on the indoor unit coil (-5°C longer that 30sec switch off)
2 The unit might be drawing to much current, to much refrigerant, cutting out on high pressure.

Check the refrigerant charge and check the indoor pipe temperature thermister (calibrated at 5kΩ @ 25°C)

Need to know if indoor unit fan shuts off at desired temperature

Check your operating instructions and see if indoor fan unit has an "auto" feature that allows the fan to run only when the outdoor unit is running. Allowing the indoor fan to run constantly will provide for better air circulation and less stagnation but will use more energy.
