Question about Insignia Pilot MP3 Player

2 Answers

After full charge, registers only half-charged.

I fully charge my NS-8V24 so all the bars are green. As soon as I unplug the charger, it has only 2-bars worth of charge. And, it lasts about that long, too. This has happened three times in a row, so I figure I have a problem.

I completely agree with Carmarita . I just want to be reassuring :D What happens is this - when you go to charge your MP3 , you probably leave it to charge for a hour or several hours over the time it actually takes to charge it . That wears out the battery pretty quick . Then there is always where you store it and that kinda thing , that can also wear it out . All in all , Carmarita is completely correct , a new batter should solve it . If that doesnt work , then its the little device that connects your battery to your MP3 . That takes the actual company to fix , and they probably dont service their MP3s anymore , because they have discontinued them . But the batter should solve it :D Hope it helps/ clarifies !

The battery bars indicator at the top of the screen will be full and when fully charged the message will say battery fully charged, if you unplug the charger and reconnect and the battery is fully charged you will see this message!

My Garmin Nuvi 1300 is turned off and charging. It charged all night and still says its charging. Will it ever read fully charged?

Most likely not. I've been repairing the 1300 series for several years and I've never seen it. The older units would say "battery charge complete". I would go by the green battery icon in the upper right corner of the screen at the main menu. There should be 4 green bars to be fully charged. Of course to see them, you have to unplug the charger.

HI Scooter is on charge full time and used daily after 30min i loose the first green light that is OK but if i dont use it for one or two days i loose the first green light only after 10min can you...

well it could be that you overcharged the batteries. You should not leave the scooter on the charger full time. you should charge the scooter nightly while you sleep unplug from the charger when you get up in the morning. the charger should not be on the scooter more than 12 hours per day and that rare. Whenever you have a red and green light on the charger the scooter is fully charged and can be unplugged. Always put it up fully charged and then charge after each use. Your batteries need to be replaced and charge the new ones before use then charge overnight each day that you use the scooter. If you don't use it for a few days you should still be fully charged than charge after use Hope this helps

What is the proper way to charge the Pronto M51

Eduardo After using your chair and the battery level lights are down with yellow or red lights showing just plug the chair into the wall socket and let er rip. Now really after using your chair during the day and you are ready for bed just plug in the charger and let it charge over night. In the morning unplug the charger and you should be set for the day. If you don't use the chair everyday always put it up with a full charge and about once a week plug it in and let it charge overnight. Never leave the chair plugged in all the time and never leave it for more that 24 hours. The charger has two lights on it one red and one yellow or green that are hard to see because they are under the rear cover. When the chair is fully charged the yellow light turns green and you can unplug the charger and you should have a full charge. Hope this helps you

When charging my jazzy, do I unplug any plugs that controls my jazzy, or leave all plugged in? the reaon ask, green light will not come on the charger, which is onboard charger, unless I unplug controller...

No JJR all the plugs need to remain plugged in. On the Pride chairs the light on the charger will only come on green when the batteries are fully charged. When you unplug the controller the charger thinks the batteries are fully charged and the light comes on. Now the problem is the batteries. If they are old or you have a bad battery then the charger never senses a full charge so no green light. Hope this helps

Keeps freezing up after downloads

My new Insignia NS-8V24 player, that I've had for 3-4 months, won't charge. I've used charging USB lines I have to charge it on every computer possible, but it won't charge. It would turn off and on for a few seconds and turn off again. I do not know what to do, because I cannot download music into the Mp3 player if it cannot be turned on. What should I do?

Battery Charging, Nuvi 35

Charge the unit over night, Plug in the AC charger and you should see a lightning bolt over the battery bar graph display.

With the charger plugged in, gently press and hold the on/off power until the screen goes black and displays the text "Charging battery". After a few seconds, the screen will go black to conserve power. At any time, you can press the screen and it will light up saying its still charging.

If you let it go over night, when you touch the screen, it will say Charging Complete and you can then remove the charger. You should have full green bars on the battery indicator.
