Was in cleaning mode, finished and now shows abort. Power off does not work
SOURCE: rational selfcook oven say service 21
Service 21 refers to your humidity control valve (climavalve) did not make a full revolution in the time allotted (about 20 seconds). Pop open the front control panel by inserting and turning a 5mm allen key into the opening on the top of the oven. While the oven is at the home screen, flip the dip switch #1 on the back of the control board to the up or on position. On the screen you should now see a new icon resembling some tools, like a wrench and screwdriver, click this icon. Go to Basic Settings and scroll to the right once until you come to Basic Settings 1.2. It should say drain valve and flap with some numbers at the bottom. F-t is the number we want to focus on, take notice of the number there, usually 18-20 seconds. Push the start button to the right of flap, this time will change to 0 while the flap is re-initializing. After 20 seconds or so a new number should come up, if it doesn't or it is over 20 seconds by a lot then you need to replace your humidity control valve.
Additionally every time you turn on your oven the climavalve will cycle, checking to make sure it is working correctly, if you interrupt this cycle by powering off the oven you can simulate this error falsly, to rectify the error turn off the oven and turn it back on and wait a good minute for all of the self testing components to finish their checks.
