Problem for Whirlpool AD50USR 50 Pint Per Day Ultra Low Temp Basement...

Dehumidifier - hot compressor / coils not cold

Cleaned coils. Fan does work. Coils do not get cold.
Checked the thermostat, overflow - all ok using volt/ohm meter.
Any suggestions or additional checks I might do to isolate problem would be greatly appreciated.

If the compressor's running and it's getting hot and the coil isn't getting cold, then you are probably low on refrigerant or your txv or metering device isn't working.
