Hannspree 15'' inch - NO audio problem.

Hello there,
I have the Hannspree 15'' liquid crystal display tv - I plugged everything the right way as usual and have been using this over a year.
However, when I popped in the dvd everything works - movie etc, the only problem is that there is no audio at all.

All the audio plugs work, but I suspect it may be the AV connector that may be a bit messed up.

Regardless, any advice is much appreciated.
