Metal putty, make some up, super glue the plastic scratch all of the inside( sandpaper or something sharp) to give good contact and fill with the putty and leave to harden, should be good then.

If you broke one of the base stand screw you will need to do as follow:
Remove the remaining screws of the stand and try to remove the stand, if you cant you will need to remove the back cover of the TV and then you will be able to remove the stand, remove the broken screw and put it all back.
It is pretty easy but if you feel you cant do it let me know and I can give you a detailed step by step guide.

SOURCE: I need 1 leg of a stand for a Philips BDL 4231 TV.
Electronics stores do not stock extra stands for TVs. Each TV comes with one stand and that stand goes with the TV.
If you contact Philips directly you may be able to purchase a stand on it's own, but this isn't likely if your TV is over a few years old.
Check ebay and see if anything is available in your area, if not, you may be limited to purchasing a hybrid stand to mount on or wall mounting.
