Tv is showing double vision with red being the second image

This is due to convergence out chips failure, replace convergence out ICs in TV to get converge picture.
If you are handy with electronics stuff repair and want to repair TV by yourself (soldering work is required) then let me know exact model number written at back of TV to provide you more technical info OR ask local tech to fix it.

Blue/Green on edges of Panasonic HDTV CT-36HX42

rear projection TV is light emitted and therefore can be fixed by a lamp replacement. I know the replacement's can in some cases be more expensive than a new model. Search the web for lamp replacement based on your TV model to get an idea.

with that problem you can fix it by simply knowing some secret codes of your remote control but to know those codes you need service manual of that particular tv model, you may look at the back of your tv set and let me know the specific model..... I'll try to find service manual for you
