Hi, This is due to convergence out chips failure, replace convergence out ICs in TV to get converge picture. If you are handy with electronics stuff repair and want to repair TV by yourself (soldering work is required) then let me know exact model number written at back of TV to provide you more technical info OR ask local tech to fix it. rear projection TV is light emitted and therefore can be fixed by a lamp replacement. I know the replacement's can in some cases be more expensive than a new model. Search the web for lamp replacement based on your TV model to get an idea.
