Sometimes the tread needs to be lubricated. This was the case with ours. You can get a lubrication kit at ****'s Sporting Goods or other larger sport stores and it will instruct you on how to do it.

SOURCE: hello,my reebok i-run treadmill belt is not moving

Usually a spark means you have a problem with either the drive motor or motor controller board became damaged. Unplug unit remove the motor shroud physically inspect the motor and board for any signs of arching then replaced the board. Next use a multi meter to check continuity of the drive motor by removing the red and black leads that attached to the board if a reading is much more than 1.0 to 2.0 ohms then your motor is also damaged need to be replaced.

Kettler pacer treadmill energy saving in middle of workout

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your Kettler Pacer treadmill. The sudden stops, display turning off, and the energy-saving light being on could indicate a few possible problems. Here are a few things you can check and try to resolve the issue: 1. Power source: Make sure the treadmill is properly connected to a stable power source. Ensure that the power cord is securely plugged into an outlet and there are no loose connections. You can also try plugging the treadmill into a different outlet to rule out any electrical issues. 2. Safety key: Check if the safety key is properly inserted into the console. If the safety key is not fully inserted or is loose, it can cause the treadmill to stop abruptly. Make sure it is securely in place. 3. Overheating: Treadmills have built-in safety mechanisms to prevent overheating. If the motor or other components of the treadmill get too hot, it may shut off to protect itself. Check if the area around the treadmill is well-ventilated and free from any obstructions. Ensure that the cooling fans on the treadmill are working properly. If the treadmill is placed on a carpet, consider moving it to a hard surface to improve airflow. 4. Motor and belt: Inspect the motor and belt for any signs of wear or damage. A worn-out belt or a malfunctioning motor can cause the treadmill to stop suddenly. If you notice any issues, such as fraying or slipping of the belt, or strange noises coming from the motor, it may require professional servicing or replacement. If the above steps don't resolve the issue, it's recommended to contact the manufacturer's customer support or a professional technician who specializes in treadmill repairs. They will be able to provide specific troubleshooting steps or schedule a service visit if necessary. Remember to always prioritize your safety and follow the manufacturer's instructions when dealing with treadmill issues. I hope you're able to get your treadmill working smoothly again soon!

I have an old Trotter 525x treadmill at my home that intermittently fails to operate properly. Anyone have any ideas on what might causing this?

There could be a few potential causes for your treadmill malfunctioning. Without more information or a proper diagnosis it is hard to know for certain, but here are some possibilities:
  1. Power supply issue: The continuous loud pitched tone and the lower red LED lights illuminating on the display board could indicate a problem with the power supply. This could be caused by a faulty power cord, a problem with the outlet, or an issue with the treadmill's internal power supply.
  2. Control board issue: The control board is responsible for controlling the functions of the treadmill, including the programs and diagnostic modes. A malfunctioning control board could cause the treadmill to stop working correctly or prevent you from entering into program or diagnostic modes.
  3. Motor controller issue: The motor controller is responsible for controlling the speed and torque of the treadmill's motor. A malfunctioning motor controller could cause the treadmill to suddenly stop running or have difficulty maintaining a steady pace.
  4. Sensor issue: Treadmills have sensors that detect the speed and distance of the belt. A malfunctioning sensor could cause the treadmill to stop working or give inaccurate readings.
  5. Wiring issue: There may be a problem with the wiring inside the treadmill that is causing the malfunction. This could be caused by a broken wire, a loose connection, or damage to the insulation.
It may be best to contact a qualified service technician to inspect and diagnose the issue with your treadmill. They will be able to troubleshoot the problem and make necessary repairs, or advise on replacement of certain parts if necessary. It may also be a good idea to check the warranty on your treadmill to see if it is still covered.

I have a RogerBlack AG-11306 Treadmill- had been working fine but now stops every time after about 10 minutes

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9HsNbDcJgkU

The problem is the belt stops moving suddenly after about 15-20 minutes of use. The display on the console is still lit and the circuit breaker switch is not tripped. There are several things that could cause the treadmill to turn off after 15-20 minutes. The motor may be over heating and turning off on overload and Try lubricating the running belt.

Why doesn't belt move?

Hi There...this is a bit of a normal failure for Icon branded equipment. Your lower control board has died. The power supplies are still alive so the upper electronics can still "light up" but there will be no belt movement due to a failed FET and kick-back diode set on the lower unit that has given up. These can be repaired and exchanged by emailing gregATbuyfitnessrepairpartsDOTcom for more help. Good Luck!

My BT3152 treadmill has stopped working, the belt no longer moves

Is anything jamming the belt or motor drive pulley? Look carefully for anything that could be jamming it. If you suspect the motor could be bad, take it electrically out of the circuit and connect it directly to the your power supply, if it spins up you know its working, however, it could still be tripping off when under load.

Client run on treadmill then suddenly its stop and display an error speed, then 5 seconds treadmill belt moves again and moves faster whats the problem of that?

hi,
There are two possibilities for this problem
1. Check the speed sensor on near the motor pulley. Remove the sensor and clean it and re-fix it. then make a try. if problem remains then
2. The motor speed controller is faulty. There is an IGBT for controlling the motor speed. If it get shorted the motor will run it its high speed.

Be sure before opening the treadmill remove the power.

Treadmill belt stopped

Double check all your connection. Check to see if you may have pinched any wires. Also check to see if you have accidently unplugged or pulled a wire loose. If that's not the case it sounds like a lower board issue.

Reebok i run treadmill stops working after 10 mins

If everything still works but no belt movement, you motor controller is more than likely shot. If replacing you want to also pay attention to the deck and belt. Sence it sut down while running, it sound it an over heating problem which is usually caused from too much friction between the walking belt and the deck(the board under it) May require lube or may need replacing.
